The JBI EBP Database is marketed and sold by a publishing partner, with user access via authentication through their online portal, with royalties provided to JBI. Although the development of content may be sponsored by external organizations (such as professional societies) they have no influence over the methods or published findings or results of any of the JBI evidence products for publication or dissemination via the EBP Database (including but not limited to evidence summaries, guidelines, rapid reviews, best practice information sheets, audit criteria, quality indicators and recommended practices). Certain for-profit organisations (such as pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, tobacco and weapons companies) are not permitted to sponsor the development of JBI content or activities. Any commercial sponsorship of JBI EBP Database content or activities is fully disclosed.

Advertising

JBI will only advertise society or partner society events or software that promote JBI’s mission of advancing evidence-based healthcare. Advertising of this nature will be clearly differentiated from scientific content. JBI has no influence or control over content on third-party sites. Any advertising associated with the JBI EBP Database will not be presented in a visual format that duplicates scientific content marketed or sold via the JBI EBP Database to avoid confusion between evidence-based resources and other content. Scientific content decisions will not be influenced by current or potential sponsors or advertisers and will not be influenced by marketing decisions. Advertisers will have no influence over the results of searches a user may conduct of the database by keyword or search topic.
