titleWhat is JBI SUMARI?

JBI SUMARI (System for the Unified Management of the Assessment and Review of Information) is a software package designed to assist in the conduct of JBI systematic reviews. JBI SUMARI is a web-based application designed to assist researchers and practitioners in fields such as health, social sciences and humanities. JBI SUMARI can support the conduct of 10 different types of systematic reviews including reviews of effectiveness, qualitative research, economic evaluations, prevalence/incidence, etiology/risk, mixed methods, umbrella/overviews, text/opinion, diagnostic test accuracy and scoping reviews.

titleAccess through MYJBI

Individual subscriptions can be purchased via MYJBI for US$130 per annum.
If you attended the JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program you will have complimentary access to JBI SUMARI for 12 months.
If you are an active core staff member of a contributing JBIC Centre of Excellence you will have complimentary access.

titleUpdating your email address via MYJBI

To retain access to your projects when changing jobs, moving between institutions, etc. you can easily update the email address associated with your MYJBI profile by follow the steps below:

  • Login to MYJBI with your username (Please note that usernames are case-sensitive).

  • Hover over your profile icon, select Account

  • Update your email address, and

  • Click SAVE.

titleIs my computer compatible with JBI SUMARI?

JBI SUMARI is an online web-based application. This means you don’t need to install any software. To ensure you receive the best of user experience, we recommend using a modern browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox when using JBI SUMARI. In some other browsers (such as Internet Explorer and Safari) there are some features which will not work correctly, such as the qualitative synthesis.

titleHow do I subscribe to JBI SUMARI?

There are a few ways to subscribe:

  • Complimentary subscription - to be eligible for complimentary access you must meet one of the following criteria:

    1. Be a nominated Core Staff member of a JBI Collaboration (JBIC) Entity.  (To learn more about joining the JBI Collaboration visit our website, the JBIC resource portal  or email   jbic@adelaide.edu.au ), or 

    2. Attend a JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Training Program at JBI or a JBIC Entity (complimentary access to SUMARI is granted for 1 year from the commencement of JBI CSRTP).   Please see our website  Education page  for training opportunities.
       

  • Individual subscription - you can purchase an Individual subscriptions by visiting the JBI SUMARI website or directly via MYJBI at USD$130 per annum (plus GST for Australian residents).
     

  • Institutional subscription  - enquire with your institution if they have an institutional subscription to JBI SUMARI, and if so, check if you are eligible to access via their subscription.     Institutional subscriptions are managed by our commercial partners Wolters Kluwer, who can be contacted at wkhealth-support@wolterskluwer.com   for more information about pricing, permissions, access, etc.
