JBIC Annual Activity Review

Introduction

JBI conducts an Annual Review of Entity activity to evaluate Entity Key Performance Requirements in line with the JBIC Activity Matrix, in February of each year. There has been a change to how reporting is to be completed for the 2024 reporting period, see below.

JBI’s Annual Review period for collaboration activities is 1st January – 31st December (calendar year).

The Global Engagement Office (GEO) will complete the Annual Review reports on behalf of all JBIC Entities and will send all Entities their report by 1 March. Review of reports by JBIC Entities, and any queries of changes to the report must be submitted to the GEO by 31 March of each year. The GEO will not make changes to reports after this date.

For those JBIC Entities which have registered a Mentorship or Clinical Partnership arrangement, the GEO will contact you separately about this to assist us with our reporting.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Entity has not conducted any of the activities marked in Red, do we still need to submit an Annual Review Report?

Yes. If your Entity has not completed any of the activities marked in Red, you must still complete the first section with your Entity name and organisation information and return to the Global Engagement Office by 31 January.

I cannot enter information for a number of activities in the Annual Review Report template, they appear to be locked for editing

JBIC Entities are not expected to insert any information into their Annual Review Report, any changes required are to go through jbic@adelaide.edu.au, the GEO will make any necessary changes

Are Systematic Review Protocols accepted for publication in the JBIES eligible to receive points?

Yes, Systematic Review Protocols accepted for publication in the JBIES will be awarded 2,000 points, however they will be awarded upon acceptance for publication of the corresponding Systematic Review in the JBIES.

This will result in Systematic Reviews with a corresponding protocol published in the JBIES being awarded 12,000 points upon acceptance for publication. If more than one Systematic Review is published from a single protocol, the first Systematic Review will receive 12,000 points and the subsequent reviews will receive 10,000 points.

** Please note, this only applies to Systematic Review Protocols accepted for publication in the JBIES. Systematic Review protocols that are registered in PROSPERO are not eligible to receive points. **
