A tool for Scientific Writers to check that all the required elements are included prior to returning the Evidence Summary updates to JBI.  You do not need to return this form.

JBI EBP DATABASE CRITICAL APPRAISAL CHECKLIST

A useful resource outlining the JBI EBP Database Critical Appraisal Checklists. Every paper included in an Evidence Summary must be critically appraised using the appropriate checklist for the study design. 

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT REPORT TEMPLATE

Every Evidence Summary must have an accompanying Technical Development Report (TDR). Download and complete this TDR template for each Evidence Summary developed or updated.

JBI EBP DATABASE RESOURCES STYLE GUIDE

A useful document that outlines a set of standards for writing JBI EBP Database resources (Evidence Summaries, Recommended Practices and Best Practice Information Sheets).

A useful resource outlining the JBI Levels of Evidence. JBI Levels of Evidence are aligned with summary statements within an Evidence Summary to classify the study design that informs the statement. 

A useful resource outlining the JBI Grades of Recommendation. Grades of Recommendations are used to assist healthcare professionals when implementing evidence into practice and are assigned to each Best Practice Recommendation in an Evidence Summary.

STATEMENT BY A SUPPLIER

Prior to you first payment being processed, JBI must receive a correctly completed Statement by a Supplier Form. Downloadable from the Australian Tax Office Website.

BANKING AUTHORITY

Payment will occur via electronic funds transfer (EFT). Prior to the first payment, Scientific Writers will need to complete a ‘Banking Authority’ form and return this to JBI.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECLARATION

All contributors, including JBI Staff, Scientific Writers, Field Collaborators and Expert Reference Group members are required to declare any Conflicts of Interest.
