Meta-regression analysis aims to examine if characteristics of studies are associated with the magnitude and direction of the effect in studies included in meta-analysis. However, given the strict statistical circumstances under which it is appropriate to perform meta-aggregation and also the advanced statistical skills required to use meta-regression software, we cannot recommend the common use of these methods in meta-analysis in JBI reviews of effectivenessEl análisis de metarregresión tiene como objetivo analizar si las características de los estudios están asociadas con la magnitud y la dirección del efecto en los estudios incluidos en el metaanálisis.
